- Long description
- Detachable feather topped cane, part of a feathered mask. A short length of cane is topped with a plume of blue, yellow and orange feathers. Below the plume lengths of green twisted string are looped and tied around the cane. A small piece of shell (now detached) was originally inserted into the centre of the plume. For the feathered mask see 1967.49.1 .1, for the other feather topped cane see 1967.49 .2, and see 1967.49.1 .4 for the stick covered with string and chalk. [CW [OPS move] 14/10/2016]
