- Long description
- Carved wooden pipe stem with tubular ferrous metal mouthpiece belonging to a red pottery pipe bowl in the form of a squatting human figure. The mouthpiece is cylindrical and undecorated. The wooden stem is cylindrical with openwork carving of an elephant head design in two tiers. The wooden stem slots into the pipe socket in the pottery pipe bowl.
