- Model paddle, carved from wood. The paddle has a short, rounded shaft with the blade end shaped like a rectangle that tapers off to a point. Carved from a single piece of wood. At one end is a length of wood that was once attached to a canoe [1994.4.138 .1] but has since snapped away. This stick is secured to the outrigger by plant fibre string. One end of the bailer is open to allow the water to enter and exit the bailer. Carved from a single piece of wood.
