Long description
Carved globular-shaped coconut vessel. The surface of the vessel is smooth and polished with two bands of hatched scroll and circle decoration carved in relief. The decorative bands are separated by two narrow carved bands, one near the rim of the vessel and one around the midpoint. there is a small circular opening in the top of the vessel.
