- Long description
- Rectangular basket box. Woven with a paler plant fibre on the exterior, and a darker plant fibre on the interior, both with a different weave. In between the two different weave types there is a lining of newspaper. Along the rim is a band of cane which has been stitched into the basketry with string. For the decorated lid please refer to 1958.3.42 .2 [BH [OPS Move] 18/11/2016]
