Long description
Basket. Rounded rectangle or oval basket with flat, rectangular bottom and straight sides. The rim has been been made oval by tying it to two pieces of bent ?cane, one on the interior and one on the exterior. The sides are decorated with two bands of monkeys woven using blackened material. The bottom is decorated with concentric rectangles of alternating colours, with four triangular shapes in the centre. [MOBB [OPS move] 17/11/2016]
