Long description
Wooden lid for the box 1996.17.197 .2. On the upper surface of the lid is a dragon painted in red, blue, green, red and purple paint with Kanji script around it and the word dragon in the upper left corner. On the reverse is an image of a man in a blue robe holding onto a paintbrush. Surrounded by Kanji text and red seal stamps around the central image.
