Long description
Gauge used for setting the size of rosary beads when being turned. Part of a set of tools illustrating the methods of making rosaries. The gauge has a short iron point at either end. One point has an unfinished rosary bead attached to it. The gauge has been turned and tapers at either end. It is decorated with two bands of three incised lines. [SM (Verve) 08/12/2014]
