Birch bark card case. [FB 30/10/2014]
Long description
Birch bark card case. The case [.1] is made from birch birch which has an inner section and outer section. Both are edged with red dyed quills and stitched with black thread. The outer section has been embroidered on both side with floral designs in dyed moose hair. The lid for the case [.2] is embroidered on one side in the same fashion as the main body of the case. The other side of the lid has a rectangular panel of birch bark broken away [.3]. There is also a square section of embroidered birch bark which has become detached from the the card case [.4].
