The inscription on this object was transcribed and translated by Fusa McLynn who volunteered at the Museum in 2013 as: “Gyuba o-mamori Kamakura Hase-dera”, Amulet for cows and horses from Hase-dera temple in Kamakura [FB 08/01/2014]
