The inscription on this object was transcribed and translated by Fusa McLynn who volunteered at the Museum in 2013 as: (Outside) “Go-kito o-fuda Nikko-san”, Amulet from Nikko (Inside) “Hoshu Nikko-san mangan himitsuku kanai anzen kisho”, Amulet for household safety from Nikko which was made through the divine ritual
