- Long description
- One of a pair of sinew-strung snowshoes. Long racket shaped snowshoes the ends of the wooden frame nailed together to form a trailer behind. Two wooden crosspieces divide the shoe so that the middle is by far the largest part where the netting is stronger. The weaving ceases before reaching the crosspieces and a space is left at the top for the toe where there is a thong loop. There are dark blue textile pompoms decorating the frame.
