The inscription on this object was transcribed and translated by Fusa McLynn who volunteered at the Museum in 2013 as: “Dochu anzen o-mamori Kinryu-zan Senso-ji”, Amulet for safe travelling from Senso-ji temple at Kinryu-zan in Asakusa, Tokyo. [FB 21/08/2013]
