- Wooden cone with a figure carved inside. There is a circular hole in the cone to see inside. A paper wrapper [1985.53.259 .1] holds the wooden figure. [MJD 05/03/2013]

The inscription on this object was transcribed and translated by Fusa McLynn who volunteered at the Museum in 2013 as: “Ushi tora Kokuzo Nikko-san goshu honzon”, Amulet for a person born in the year of cow or tiger to be protected by Kokuzo bosatsu, from Nikko [FB 08/01/2014]
