The inscription on this object was transcribed and translated by Fusa McLynn who volunteered at the Museum in 2013 as: “Kitamuki jizo daibosatsu shinei”, Sacred image of Kitamuki jizo “Kyoto Takoyakushi Myoshin-ji”, Takoyakushi in Myoshin-ji temple in Kyoto *Amulets from the same temple, 1985.52.50, 1985.52.51.
