Research and responses

The inscription on this object was transcribed and translated by Fusa McLynn who volunteered at the Museum in 2013 as: “Kitamuki Jizo son, Anzan omamori”, Amulet for the safe childbirth from Kitamuki Jizo (North-facing Jizo). (Red seal) “Tako yakushi, Myoshin-ji”, Tako yakushi of Myoshin-ji temple. *It seems identical to 1985.53.51 [MJD 18/03/2013]
