- Long description
- Neck piece. Neck piece made from pieces of indigo dyed textile. The neck piece has been embroidered with geometric designs in red, yellow, blue, white and green cotton and silk yarn in a variety of stitches including cross stitch, back stitch and diagonal satin stitch. The front panel consists of a rectangle filled with a eight pointed star design. The design continues is bordered with five rows of diagonal satin stitch in white, yellow, green, yellow and red. The back panel of the neck pieces has been embroidered with geometric patterns in filling stitch and cross stitch. [FB 03/10/2012]
