- Amulet, one of four textile scapulars [see 1985.52.2789 .1- .4]. Rectangular in shape with red cotton criss-cross stitching on the front, with a printed image of the Virgin Mary with Child. The back of the scapular is a plain green textile. [ASh [OPS move] 3/2/2017]
- Long description
- Amulet, four textile scapulars [.1- .4] with religious images. The first scapular [.1] is rectangular with red cotton criss-cross stitching on the front, with a printed image of the Virgin Mary with Child. The back of the scapular is a plain green textile. The second scapular [.2] is rectangular with a blue textile on one side with the remains of a textile which has a figure printed in black, the reverse of the scapular is a black textile. The third scapular [.3] is rectangular with a blue base textile on the front with the remains of a printed textile which has been printed with two figures, one holding a child, an Auspice Maria and a Sacred Heart. The reverse of the textile is plain black. The fourth [.4] scapular is rectangular with a red a beige check pattern textile, with the remains of a textile on the front printed with an image of the Sacred Heart with the instruments of the Passion.
