Description
Bronze fibula
Long description
Amulet, bronze brooch known as a 'fibula'. The body of the brooch is bow-shaped with slit in the middle and connects to a straight hinged pin. The bow-shaped body is flat and narrows at one end. The narrows end is when the pin closes, and the hinge is at the wider end. The pin does no longer open, and the hinge appears to be seized. [RB 17/07/2012]
