Long description
Amulet, a rectangular piece of textile, folded with the corners stitched together, containing folded paper printed with religious text and images. There is a lining of cardboard which stiffens the textile, there is also a pink and white striped loop for suspension. The outside of the white textile has been embroidered with a border of metal thread. The folded paper, which has been printed in black ink, has been stitched to the textile, therefore it is not possible to open the paper. However, on one side there is an image of a monstrance and on the other the following text in Latin and Spanish: "Et Dñus quidem Jesus postquam locutus est eis assumptus est is coel. & sedet á dextris Dei. Illi aut profecti praedicaverunt ubique Dño cooperante, & sermonem confir mante sequentibus signis. BARCELONA: Estamperi de Torras". [ACA 11/07/2012]
