- Long description
- Amulet, metal pendant with a crescent shape and a circular moon face to one side, with figures depicted in the centre, with a loop for suspension. The crescent shape runs along the length of the pendant on the right hand edge, with a face in a circular shape representing a full moon at the centre point, where the loop for suspension is attached. The crescent shape curls around the edges and in the space in the centre there is a human figure standing facing a snake, which has entwined itself around a pole. Perched on top of the pole there is a bird, to the left of which there are two star shapes. At the base of the pole there is a lamb, and along the back of the human figure is an ?owl with outstretched wings that span the length of the left edge of the pendant. [RB 06/06/2012]
