Long description
Amulet, a scapular consisting of two brown rectangular felt panels, with a printed linen panel stitched onto one, with two loops for suspension. The linen panel has been printed in black ink with the following: "N. D. DU MONT CARMEL PRIEZ POUR NOUS SCAPULAIRE DU SANCTUAIRE DE N. D. DU MONT CARMEL PALESTINE" which surrounds an image of the Virgin Mary. The loops for suspension are linen strips which have been folded and stitched to form the loops. [ACA 28/05/2012]
