- Long description
- Amulet, wooden box [.1] containing a carved wooden Crucifix, with detachable sliding lid [.2], and a string loop for suspension nailed to [.1]. Inside the box there is a carved wooden Crucifix, with figure at the base of the cross and one above it. There would have been another figure at the base of the cross, which is now missing. Behind the heads of each of the figures there is a cut-out piece of paper the represents a ?halo. The lid fits into a groove around the edge of the box, so that it can slid on and off.
