Long description
Amulet, crescent shaped boar tusks, mounted in metal with loops for suspension, with a metal pendant and coins, used as an ornament for horses. The tusks have been joined together with a central metal mount which is two loops at the top for suspension. Between the two tusks there is a metal pendant which is suspended from loops from the central mount. The pendant has a floral pattern and a crescent shape, there are three coins which have been perforated and suspended from the bottom of the pendant along with two semi-circular metal pendants which may have been ?mounts for something else. One of the tusks has a metal mount on the tip where a coin is suspended from. [ACA 11/05/2012]
