Long description: Amulet, double sided metal pendant, with a painted religious figure on one side, and 'CHARITAS' [love] on the other, with a loop for suspension. The pendant is oval, and has a religious figure on one side, which has been printed in black ink and then painted with coloured pigments. The other side of the pendant is made of mother of pearl and has the word 'CHARITAS' incised into it. The pendant in comprised of a ?gold frame, with a ?silver chain like ornament fixed around the middle. [RB 04/05/2012]
