- Long description
- Amulet, metal curved arch shaped reliquary pendant, containing saints' relics, with a glass front, and a loop for suspension. There appear to be two relics, are nestled in multiple gold coloured coiled metal wires, however one is obscured due to corrosion to the metal wires around the relic. Next to each relic there is a strip of paper with writing in black ink on it. One strip of paper reads 'Frument: S: Apoÿ[illegible]', there other reads 'Cera [illegible]nnor[?]: X[?]'. The relics are framed behind a glass panel, and mounted in metal with scalloped edging. On the reverse of the pendant there are floral and geometrical designs cast into the metal. [RB 26/04/2012]
