- Long description
- Amulet, an oval shaped metal reliquary pendant containing saints' relics, with a figure of the Virgin Mary on the reverse, and a loop for suspension. There are three saints' relics framed within the metal reliquary, all would have been mounted on a piece of paper, however only one appears to remain. Below each relic the name of the saint to who it belongs is in black ink on a piece of paper. These names are 'S Just.', 'S Célestin.', and 'S Victor.'. There is a figure of the Virgin Mary in relief on the reverse, and an inscription on the front which reads: 'P. SOUVENIR DU JUBILE 1847'. [RB 11/04/2012]
