Long description: Amulet, a scapular. A oval shaped textile panel with an image of the Sacred Heart and an inscription on one side, with a loop for suspension. The scapular consists of a waxed linen textile mounted on a red textile, both with serrated edges. On the waxed linen textile there is a printed image of the Sacred Heart with a cross emerging from the flames at the top of the heart, and the Crown of Thorns around the centre. There is an inscription around the Sacred Heart which reads: 'Arrête ! le Cœur de Jèsus est là! QUE VOTRE RÈGNE ARRIVE 100 jours d'indul ces chaque fois Pie IX. 14 Juin 1877'. [RB 20/03/2012]
