Description
Embroidered child's jacket. [FB 22/05/2012]
Long description
Embroidered child's jacket. The jacket is made from cotton that has been dyed a green metallic colour. The jacket is short sleeved and the front of the jacket is longer than the back. The front of the jacket around the collar, shoulders and on the sleeves have been decorated with embroidered geometric patterns in red, blue and purple in cotton yarn in satin stitch. The sleeves and bottom edge of the back of the jacket are made with bright blue cotton. The back of the jacket is decorated with a square panel of woven design with round dots of blue and red. The sides and bottom of the back of the jacket is decorated with woven braids red, blue and green grosgrain ribbon and red ribbon with purple stitching. On the front of the jacket hand stitched to the edges are two lengths of red grosgrain ribbon, to be used as ties. [FB 22/05/2012]
