Description
Green glazed pottery amulet in 10 pieces with a ball, crescent and two horn shapes. [SM 25/05/2011]
Long description
Green glazed pottery amulet in 10 pieces with a ball, crescent and two horn shapes. The different sections were joined together with wire suspension loops. When the object was intact it would have had the ball at the top with a piece of pink yarn tied to the top of it. Hanging beneath the ball would have been a crescent shape that curved down. Attached to either end of this would have been the two horn shapes. Currently the ball is in one piece, the pink yarn is detached, the crescent is in five pieces with a piece of pink textile attached to it, one horn is in two pieces and the other is only one piece. The top is missing. [SM 25/05/2011]
