"Forest doll". Carved wooden doll, dressed in moss. Used to protect against demons. The doll has a carved face with features highlighted in ink. He is wearing moss clothes that are bound to the body with string. He has a bundle of sticks on his back and hasa stick tied to his right hand. His legs are bound with paper strips and his shoes are made from woven ?bark. He is nailed to a wooden base. [SM 20/05/2011]
