- Long description
- Circular devotional medal or pendant depicting a cross on one side and St Benedict on the other. The object has the inscription "PAX V.R.S.N.S.M.V S.M.Q.I.V.B" written around the edge of the cross, "CSSML NDSMD" written inside the cross and "C S P B" written in the space around the cross. The other side has the inscription "EIVS IN OBITV NRO PRӔ SENTIA MVNIAMVR EX SM CASINO MDCCCLXXX" written around the edge of it and "CRVXS PATRIS BENEDICTI" written either side of the figure of St Benedict. The object has a copper alloy suspension loop at the top. [SM 23/02/2011]
