- Medallion depicting a ship and St George. Carried by a man in the German Navy during World War 1. The medallion has St George riding a horse, spearing a dragon, on one surface and a boat with sails and rigging on the back. The medallion has the inscription: "ST GEORGIVS EQVITVM PATRONVS MADE IN FRANCE" on the front and "INTEMPESTATE SECURITAS" written on the back. The surface of the object has been covered in a silver ?leaf that has worn away in several places. [SM 17/02/2011]
