- Long description
- Fisherman's amulet. Oval with picture of St Benedict on one surface and inscriptions on both sides. With perforation and metal suspension loop. One side is inscribed "CRUX S.P. BENEDICTI" with a picture of St. Benedict. The other side is inscribed "V.R.S.N.S.M.V.S.M.Q.L.I.V.S. IHS" around the edge, with a cross within an oval. Written inside the cross is "CSSML" vertically and "NDSMD" horizontally. The letters "C", "S", "P" and "B" are written around the cross. [SM 17/02/2011]
