- Carved wooden acorn in two pieces [.1-.2]. Used as an amulet against lightning. [.1] is the acorn nut section and [.2] is the top cup, which has a hole through it. The two are threaded and screw together. [.1] is hollowed out inside. [SM 02/02/2011]
