Long description
Ornament of three metal and three china acorns, linked together alternately. Used as an amulet to protect against lightning. The six acorns are all linked together to make a circle. The three metal acorns are made from two hollow sides that have been joined together. There is a metal link at the top and bottom of all the acorns. The three other acorns are made from orange and white marbled stone, which has been carved into an acorn shape. These have been perforated and also have metal links at the top and bottom. One of the metal acorn shapes also has four metal links attached to a fixing on one side of it. [SM 02/02/2011]
