Research and responses

This object was examined by Prof. Rosemary Joyce during a visit to Oxford in December 2010. She noted that these two fishtail points (1921.91.232–233) are rare and are generally only known from cave sites, such as Cueva del Gigante, during the early part of the archaic period (c.9220–8750 BC).
