Long description
Mask made of gourd with features incised on and then painted. The mask has two circular holes above the incised eyes to enable the wearer to see. The gourd stem forms the tip of the nose and mouth. A floral design is incised and painted on the forehead. The mask is also decorated around the face with linear, scrolling, zigzag and curved designs. [SM (Verve) 03/10/2013]
