- Long description
- One of a pair of ear ornaments in rosette form; of beetle elytra, coix seeds and fringe of red goats' hair. The centre of the ornament is made of three green beetle elytra which has fallen out, leaving a plug of plant pith. The ornament has a ring of coix seeds and fringe of dyed red goats' hair. The ornament has a long fringe of dyed red goats' hair. The rosette is backed by a metal cone attached to a wooden stick. [MJD DDF Body Arts Project 2010/2011 25/10/2010]
