Long description
One of a pair of ear ornaments of blue feathers. The ornament is made of nine clipped wing feathers on a 'stalk' bound with black cotton. At the bottom of the feathers are six hanging curled blue and black feathers. Above the bindings are red and blue feathers and a piece of ?wood. Woven into the binding is a strip of yellow orchid stem. [MJD DDF Body Arts Project 2010/2011 21/10/2010]
