- Long description
- Stone tool: handaxe. Made from a lump of light brown stone, roughly oval in shape. On the ventral side, a large chip is missing from the distal edge, and the exposed stone is dark brown-black in colour. There are also two chips missing at the distal edge on the dorsal side. These are smaller, but also brown-black in colour. [LKG 08/03/2010]

Following communication with David Morris at the Kimberley museum it seems that this collection may have been sent to Henry Balfour for his opinion on them, since a previous collection had been sent to him. These items bear Kimberley museum accession numbers and that museum holds data relating to their source sites etc. [CRFW 3/9/2002]
