Long description: Stone tool. Made from a piece of dark green-grey stone. The proximal end of the stone is very straight, although a large chip of rock is missing at one corner. The long sides of the stone taper inward toward a point at the distal end, the tip of which is round. The stone is pale yellow-brown on the side of the proximal edge. [LKG 19/02/2010]

Research and responses: Following communication with David Morris at the Kimberley museum it seems that this collection may have been sent to Henry Balfour for his opinion on them, since a previous collection had been sent to him. These items bear Kimberley museum accession numbers and that museum holds data relating to their source sites etc. [CRFW 3/9/2002]
