Long description
Copper coin. The coin bears the inscription 'THE ANGLESEY MINES HALFPENNY 1788' on one side, around a central monogram motif. On the reverse side there is a profile portrait of a man wearing a head scarf, bordered by a laurel wreath. There is evidence of some green corrosion on this side. [LKG 01/02/2010]
