- One of two strips of cotton textile embroidered with a band of bird and foliage designs in purple and orange yarn. Used for decorating blouses or 'camisas'. See 2008.57.79 and 2008.57.80 for both strips. The main body of the embroidered band has been made with purple cotton yarn, orange cotton yarn has been used to decorate the bird's and the foliage. There are two birds, the birds are mostly white. The band is 260 mm long and 52 mm wide. The white cotton is creased and frayed along all four edges. [FC 26/8/2009]
