- Research and responses
This object was examined by Professor Itaru Chijiwa during his research visit in December 2010. He noted that 2009.50.24 and .26 refer to the same battle and that 2009.50.26 might be a cover for 2009.50.24 as they have the same titles and are the same size. [SM 15/12/2010]
The inscription on this object was transcribed and translated by Fusa McLynn who volunteered at the Museum in 2012 as: “Nisshin senso shashin zu”, Picture of Sino-Japan War [MJD 26/11/2012]
