Description: Painted clay animal figure, also a rattle. [MdeA 02/06/2009]
Long description: Painted clay animal figure, also a rattle. Possibly a figure of a lizard of frog-like creature. The animal has been painted with bright colours. The back of the animal is bright yellow with with alternating green and red lines painted over the top. The central green stripe on the animal's back is raised slightly. The head of the animal is also painted bright yellow with a red band edged with black around it's neck. The animal has oval eyes painted on with fine black lines and green ears also outlined in black. A red stripe with fine black lines goes down the centre of the head with a green dash painted on either side. The animal has a black nose. The underside of the figure has been left undecorated and is painted white. [FC 10/6/2009]
