- Painted clay figure. Chinese man riding a ?donkey. The man is sitting on the donkey and is facing away from the donkey's head. He is wearing a round black hat on his head. On either side of the hat, attached with metal wire springs (which are becoming un-sprung) are two circular black discs with yellow decoration. His eyes, eyebrows and moustache have been painted in black and he has a red mouth. His head is hollow and attached to his body with a metal wire spring so that his head wobbles with movement. He is wearing a blue robe over which he has a red cloak with yellow, dark blue and red decoration. The robe and cloak are edged with white. He is riding a black animal, possibly a donkey. The animal has two black ears attached to its head with wire and is painted as wearing a harness which has been painted in white around it's head. The animal's chest has been painted with a circle of red paint and the front of the body with a yellow line and red dots. The animal has a pink saddle cloth? decorated with yellow paint on which has been painted a pot in yellow and orange with a red diamond in the centre containing two Chinese characters painted in black.
