Long description
Feather head ornament or headdress made of bunches of black and white feathers bound together. The head ornament or headress is made of small bunches of cut feathers bound into a larger bunch with cane and plant fibre. Two lengths of dark coloured wood are attached to the bottom of this large bunch, as well as two long plaits of plant fibre, both with a tassel at the end. [SM 21/07/2008]
