Print of a woman playing the samisen with a large plectrum.
Long description
Print, mounted and glazed (glass cracked). The print is of a woman wearing a blue kimono with reddish brown obi, raised geta sandals and a large circular hat attached under the chin. The woman is playing a lute or samisen with a large triangular plectrum. There is an inscription on the woman's left.
