Long description
Amulet or bead, of red cornelian, carved in the form of an 'Eye of Horus'. The object is carved only on the upper side and is smooth and flat on the underside. The amulet or bead is carved from one piece of stone which has been perforated along its length to allow it to be threaded. It has also been perforated to show the under eye motif of the standard Eye of Horus. The carving is mainly linear. [MdeA 10/1/2007]
